Hedge Fund is a private institutional asset manager with over a billion dollars of assets under management. It uses the latest in hardware and software technology to manage investments around the world. Its technology group is seeking candidates for several different positions. The group currently consists of six developers and is responsible for hundreds of processors, gigabytes of RAM, and terabytes of disk space. The group has a ten year track record and has experienced rapid growth in profitability, assets under management, and staff size over the past few years.

The Technology General Manager is responsible for owning initiatives critical to our technology transformation plan. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Being involved with the entire SDLC for new technology projects . This includes: (a) Code level design - functional decomposition and use case realization, apply design patterns, deliver UML class diagrams and sequence diagrams, etc., (b) Implementation - .NET development in C# and SQL; use LINQ, ASP.NET with AJAX controls, LINQ, WCF, etc., and © Stabilization - diagnostics and troubleshooting, bug fixing

The Process Lead in the Collateral Management Group is responsible for managing the day-to-day responsibilities of the Associates within the group. Process Leads also indirectly manage the work load and development of these Associates.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

A top tier investment firm is looking for a Jr. Java Programmer to work on a dynamic team of talented junior and senior developers, technical architects, and functional analysts who work in concert, employing agile methodologies, to deliver high profile projects using OO technology.

RESPONSIBILIITES:
The primary responsibility will be to understand business and functional requirements and to develop technical solutions to these. The candidate will also be able to gain knowledge of the existing system lines in order to support the system and controllers who use it.
The main technology used in the role is Java with preferred SQL (Sybase ASE/UDB. It is a test-driven development with agile methodologies, so experience of working in projects run in this manner is useful. Knowledge of Object Oriented Design and Analysis as well as ORM tools is highly desirable.
